By enhancing the school curriculum with quality, outdoor learning experiences, we can positively influence young people’s emotional wellbeing and overall happiness.
From 1-day workshops to multi-night camps, we can help to build resilience, social skills, communication and develop crucial life skills that in turn, improve children's attitude to school-based learning.
TreeHouse Education for Schools
We can bring bespoke workshops to your school - maybe you need a one-off event for World Book Day, or a day to enhance the history curriculum. We can assess the needs of your school and pupils and deliver enrichment to their learning.
As qualified and experienced teachers and leaders in outdoor learning, we can provide sessions such as the following:
World Book Day - bringing reading, writing and speaking alive with an inspiring and educational day. We offer a full day of planning for EYFS, KS1 and KS2, linking a text or an author to exploring the outdoors.
Earth or Eco Day - termly or half termly sessions based around a green theme:
- we can help you work towards your eco-schools award having recently achieved the Green Flag Award in other schools
- we can help design and remodel an area of your school to become your Forest School or gardening plot.
Curriculum-based workshops - a full day of topic-themed activities, using the outside as our classroom.
For your bespoke course, workshop or regular outdoor sessions, please send us a message with your needs and wishes!
