Every organisation that works with children needs to have a safeguarding and child protection policy statement, which sets your commitment to protecting children from harm.

Our objective is to provide a safe and healthy work environment for all our children, employees, parents, students and visitors.

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that when an accident occurs at TreeHouse, appropriate action is taken, and accurate information is recorded and communicated.

It is the responsibility of every member of staff to ensure that accidents and injuries are dealt with appropriately and swiftly.

Children may require medication to be administered at their early learning and childcare setting. Medication may be administered short term to treat a specific condition, long term, or in an emergency.

In the event that a child is not collected by an authorised adult at the end of a session/day, we put into practice agreed procedures. These ensure the child is cared for safely by an experienced and qualified practitioner who is known to the child.
